Lupita Romero is an interdisciplinary artist exploring memory, tradition, and social constructs, focused on light and color. She works with paper, paint, and organic materials, believing that the heart of the art justifies it's medium and material.She has exhibited her work in New York City at various group exhibitions. She is a recipient of the Strategic Funds Fellowship from the Undocumented & Immigrant Student Programs of the City University of New York.She is from Teotihuacan, Mexico, migrated to New York City as a child, and gre up in Queens.
